Business Trip to Taiwan Part Three

----------

Work in Taiwan finished yesterday. I wish I could stay a bit longer since three days was not enough.

I was planning to wake up at seven and head into town at eight, but the schedule was delayed for an hour. :-)

I headed to Lung Shan Temple by Metro first. Taipei Metro is so cheap... 20 Taiwan Dollar for first ride! Lung Shan Temple was packed with people not just with tourists but also with people who came to pray. I realise that there are a lot of people who are seriously dedicated to religion in this country.

I also visited Taipei Confucious Temple, and Dalongdong Baoan Temple, which was followed by Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. I found usage of colours for temple buildings is very interesting.

It was soooooooo hot in Taiwan! The temperature reached 26 degrees... a big mistake to wear a jacket!

Although it was only the morning that I managed to do sightseeing, I enjoyed Taipei with my own foot instead of relying on a tour.

My flight was so short that it only took just over 2hrs. When I realised I already arrived back in Tokyo. It felt like as though I had been visiting a city somewhere in Japan.

I had Korean for dinner with Teruko who came to greet me at the airport! Thank you, Teru-chan!
